Paralegal – Corporate & Legal Affairs An ASX-listed international energy company with a growing presence in the Americas is seeking a capable and driven Paralegal to join its Melbourne-based legal team. Our client is looking for a skilled professional to support its General Counsel & Company Secretary in a critical legal and corporate governance function. This job is suited to candidates with experience as a paralegal or legal executive assistant in an ASX-listed company. The successful candidate will provide key support in legal operations, corporate compliance, document management, investor relations, and board-related matters. Benefits: Excellent salary package Work with an internationally recognised, ASX-listed energy leader Central Melbourne location, in Southbank Opportunity to be involved in high-impact corporate and investor relations projects Exposure to cross-border legal and commercial matters Responsibilities: Provide daily administrative and legal support to the General Counsel Assist in the preparation and management of board and committee materials Maintain corporate registers and facilitate regulatory filings Coordinate key investor relations events and materials (e.g., Annual Reports, roadshows) Support the Annual General Meeting process and related reporting activities Liaise with senior stakeholders and external parties including designers, advisors, and venues Ensure compliance with company policies, corporate governance, and legal standards Contribute to the development and communication of corporate schedules and calendars Promote and uphold the company’s strong HSSE culture and standards Selection Criteria: To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate: Previous experience in a similar role in an ASX-listed company (absolutely essential) Knowledge of contract law and corporate compliance A minimum of 5–6 years of relevant paralegal or legal support experience Experience supporting senior executives and managing board or investor materials Strong knowledge of legal filing processes with regulators and ASX High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail, planning, and time management capabilities Stakeholder management experience in a fast-paced environment Please apply directly through this ad or contact Nev Ó Ríordáin on 0437 028 897 for a confidential discussion
