About the Role The Role Provide Corporate Reception and Facilities duties for the BDO GWS (Parramatta) office. This is a great opportunity for an independent and proactive individual with a “can do” attitude who is looking for a role where they can make an impact and play a key part in BDO’s growth journey. BDO is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with strong organisation and stakeholder management skills. Based in the Parramatta office, this fast-paced, busy role will report to the Senior Facilities Manager. This role will be responsible for the smooth running of the office, providing support to all areas. Responsibilities Some of these responsibilities include: Meeting & greeting clients and BDO staff. Concierge duties to guide visitors and employees Order catering and set up of corporate meetings. Source vendors for goods and services, negotiating and evaluating prices and contract terms. Assist the Marketing teams with events. Assist People & Culture team with the on-boarding of new starters & leavers. Stay up to date on industry trends and new products. Responsible for general office maintenance Management and general upkeep of meeting rooms and common areas General administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, archiving files, general filing, business card orders and adhoc duties as required. Process and submit all relevant invoices, ensuring they have been coded correctly and are approved in the required timeframe. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers for office. Acting as the first aid officer and emergency warden for the office Manage the facilities communication for GWS. Skills & Attributes Required Prior experience in a similar role Enthusiastic with a positive, “can-do” attitude Warm, engaging, and welcoming attitude Professional, approachable, and reliable Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, across both the Parramatta and CBD offices A self-starter who can work independently and autonomously Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel Why BDO?
