Reporting to the Coordinator Legal & Governance, this position works across all departments to develop and implement strong, consistent, transparent governance, quality and risk frameworks and programs for the client. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders within the organisation and to effectively manage change. Essential 1. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how to interpret and apply relevant legislation. 2. Relevant experience in commercial and community leasing. 3. High level of negotiation and communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills. 4. Demonstrated ability to prepare high quality writing communication including policies, procedures, guidelines, briefings and reports. 5. Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with discretion. 6. Demonstrated experience in complaints handling. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Law or relevant discipline. • Admitted as an Australian Lawyer. • Current legal practicing certificate or ability to obtain.
