You will be proficient in the following responsibilities: Drafting and preparing legal documents – non-disclosure agreements, cost agreements, court documents, briefs for counsel, letters of demand, letters of engagement, affidavits, letters of instruction Inbox, email and correspondence management – Prioritise and organise key communications File management– Opening new matters, conflict checks, maintaining, closing and archiving files both e-filing and hard copy Billing and timesheet input – End-of-month billing, client reporting, timesheets and expenses Diary and travel management – Coordinate complex diaries, diarising court dates & deadlines and organising travel nationally and internationally, creating itineraries, Client and stakeholder communication – Liaise with clients, lawyers, counsel, barristers, etc. Event coordination – Assist with organising team events and functions Do you have the following skillset? 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within Employment or Litigation, however, all areas of law will be considered Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in e-filing, expenses & billing systems – Experience with legal software is an advantage (iManage, Elite 3E, Chrome River) Highly skilled in MS Office, with advanced formatting capabilities in Word, and confident use of PowerPoint and Outlook.
