With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality developments, they are expanding their team and looking for a Structures Foreman to manage and oversee the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the construction of structural elements, including steel, concrete, and timber works. Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of site operatives, sub-contractors, and other on-site personnel. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns. Review and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to the correct standards and within deadlines. Plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks to ensure efficient and effective workflow on-site. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Resolve any technical issues or problems that arise during the construction process. Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly maintained. Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and safety reports. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality control, and high safety standards. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience (5 years) in a foreman or supervisory role within the commercial construction sector, specifically in structural works. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction processes, and safety regulations. Experience in managing large teams and coordinating subcontractors effectively. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications. Solid knowledge of modern construction methods, materials, and techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. Proactive problem solver with the ability to make decisions on the spot. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Health and safety-focused with a keen eye for risk mitigation.
