This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take Princess Polly’s iconic brand from URL to IRL. As the National Retail Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing Princess Polly’s brand to life in a physical retail format across Australia. This newly created role will lead the launch and operations of our retail stores, establishing a scalable framework and delivering an in-store experience that’s every bit as seamless and inspiring as our online one. You’ll be setting the tone, leading from the front, and building the foundations of a retail network that’s bold, energetic, and uniquely Princess Polly. As National Retail Manager, you’ll: Drive the rollout of new stores across Australia – from launch and everything in between Own the full end-to-end experience across our store network, including operations, visual merchandising, team performance, and customer service Build and lead incredible store teams who live and breathe the brand Design and implement scalable operating procedures, systems, and tools that set the foundation for long-term retail success Manage budgets, retail P&L, KPIs, and all commercial levers to ensure strong store performance Work cross-functionally with our teams in Merch, Marketing, Team Experience, and Logistics to keep everything aligned Deliver an in-store experience that reflects our customer obsession and brand DNA Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and policy requirements, including robust loss prevention measures Who You Are Extensive senior retail leadership experience, ideally as a National Retail Manager or State Manager, within a high-growth environment You’ve successfully led new store openings from site selection to post-launch performance A deep understanding of retail operations, customer behaviour, and industry trends The ability to think strategically, develop business plans, identify market opportunities, and adapt to change Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, uncover insights and drive performance A flexible and adaptable approach, comfortable navigating change and leading through ambiguity A hands on, lead from the front leadership style with a strong presence in the day-to-day, empowering teams and driving momentum through action Experience developing and scaling processes, systems, and retail frameworks to support sustainable growth Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and drive high performance across large, multi-site teams Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across all levels of the business Passion for retail, fashion, and youth culture, with a customer-first mindset and deep connection to brand experience This is a rare opportunity to launch and scale a new chapter of Princess Polly stores, shape the in-store experience, and build the infrastructure to support long-term growth.
