A position is now available for a highly motivated, passionate Retail Store Manager, to run their Urunga Store. You will be responsible for the overall performance and operations of the store, ensuring that financial targets and customer satisfaction are achieved through effective merchandising, pricing and inventory control. In addition, you will be tasked with staff rosters and team performance, setting the example when it comes to Customer Service and handling any customer complaints. This role may require you to work a rotational roster, which could include weekends and public holidays. Benefits: Family owned & operated business Opportunity to work & contribute to your local community Supportive & collaborative management team Duties: Be passionate about customer service and maintaining high standards, ensuring staff deliver high quality service in all areas of the business Develop a proactive, positive culture in store, in line with company vision and values Manage rosters, approve timesheets and annual leave requests Lead by example and demonstrate an excellent work ethic Monitor and control stock shrinkage Ensure correct stock rotation and stock management (including ordering & returns) Analyse the store’s financials and KPI’s, providing regular reports to management Provide a safe workplace, through proper risk management in accordance with WH&S guidelines and food safety requirements and regulations Oversee staffing, including recruitment selection and induction of new staff Skills & Experience; Previous Store Management experience in Retail, with grocery/stock management background highly regarded High level of personal integrity and accountability for performance Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of up to 30staff over a 7 day roster High level people skills and experience with successful conflict management within the workplace Experience with staff management, including performance appraisals, identifying skill gaps and assisting staff with knowledge and product development A strong understanding of how to monitor and control shrinkage, stock rotation and stock management Strong understanding of OH&S and food safety requirements and regulations Experience in consistently exceeding sales targets and meeting various budget requirements High level of computer skills, with the ability to interpret sales figures and work to targets and budgets MUST be a Resident or Citizen of Australia with full working rights How to apply All applications are to be submitted online – click APPLY.
