Description Riverside Adventist School is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team. This Fixed-Term Term-Time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide valuable support within an educational setting. As a Teacher Aide, your responsibilities will include: Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing learning activities and supporting students in their educational development. Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional support with their learning. Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) for students with diverse learning needs. Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of classroom resources and materials. Supervising and supporting students during break times and off-site activities as required. Collaborating with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each student. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential. Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children is desirable.
