THE ROLE As part of the Commercial and Project teams, the Contracts Administrator will assist in the commercial administration of Contractors and Subcontractors across this multi-million dollar project based in Yatala. This will include Provide contract support across the project for claims, variations and compliance Develop and maintain contract documentation, Contract Administration Plans, correspondence and registers in conjunction with the Commercial Team Review Commnia and Gallagher system for Contractor compliance, i.e., insurances, licensing, management plans Assist with HSE Audits and Contractor compliance and breaches Preparation and maintenance of Risk Registers / Management models for projects, to be included in management reporting Assist the team through liaison with commercial, finance, procurement, accounts payable and the project team to identify and resolve equipment delivery, invoicing and payment issues with vendors Support commercial, construction and project managers with report formatting and data extraction Contractor claim assessment and preparation of Payment Certificates Assist with project budget reporting and forecasting Document & standards administration Expense & travel management ABOUT YOU With prior experience in a similar role and coming from a complex construction background, you will be diligent, detailed orientated with strong organisational skills. You will also need: Tertiary Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Business/Commerce, Law or equivalent Previous experience in a Contract Administrator role in a construction environment Microsoft software – Advanced Excel, Work and PowerPoint Advanced Adobe Pro experience Sound understanding of document control SharePoint and similar software exposure (desirable) Project Correspondence documentation management, such as Aconex, Asite or Commnia (desirable) REWARDS AND BENEFITS This is your chance to be part of something big.
