More About the Role at Equinix Job Summary: Join Equinix as a Senior Account Executive, where you will drive sales of our innovative solutions to mid-market new accounts and expand existing relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Customer Relationship Management: - Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts. - Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews. - Collaborative Sales Leadership: - Lead a coordinated sales approach with internal teams and external partners. - Utilize strategic alliances to penetrate accounts effectively. - Account Planning & Strategy: - Research and document customer business landscapes. - Develop and execute account plans to maintain and grow existing accounts. - Solution Selling: - Identify customer needs and recommend tailored Equinix solutions. - Deliver compelling sales pitches, adapting to customer personas. - Contract Management: - Address high churn risk and facilitate contract renewals to protect revenue. - Understand and manage customer contractual obligations. - Pipeline & Territory Management: - Monitor opportunities in SFDC and forecast sales accurately. - Prioritize accounts for short and long-term sales objectives. - Prospecting &action: - Collaborate with the Opportunity Development Team to qualify leads. - Lead negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms. - Team Leadership: - Provide guidance and expertise to junior team members. - Assist in onboarding and training new hires. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
