This could be the meaningful career move you’ve been looking for. About the Role This fulfilling role involves supporting adults and/or children under the NDIS and/or Child Safety sectors. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, promoting emotional well-being, and encouraging meaningful community participation. We are especially interested in candidates with experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours. This includes implementing behaviour support strategies, managing challenging situations, and providing consistent, structured care to foster positive outcomes. Preference will be given to candidates available for all shift types—including mornings, days, afternoons, evenings, and overnights, with the potential for active overnight shifts. Availability for 25 hours per week and flexibility across Monday to Sunday is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Support clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to foster independence. Assist with mobility, transportation, and household tasks. Administer medication and monitor health conditions. Implement behaviour support strategies for individuals with complex behaviours De-escalate challenging situations and promote positive behaviour management. Maintain accurate records and documentation of care. What We Are Looking For Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and/or diagnoses, Certification in disability support or a related field (preferred). Male and Female support workers are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with, or willingness to support, children with disabilities. Patience, resilience, and the ability to handle challenging behaviours effectively. Knowledge of disability rights, advocacy, and child safety requirements.
