What the day will look like Based in our Melbourne office, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the development and execution of growth strategies to win business and align branches and stakeholders to the National Sales Blueprint to drive growth. Key responsibilities will include: - Achieve budgeted sales targets for region - Actively work on key new business opportunities throughout the region from identification, qualification, presentation and transition upon appointment, noting Client Manager appointment for the same - Drive and actively participate in networking events and other activities which allow for identification of new business prospects - Have deep understanding on Aon solutions and capabilities throughout the region - Accurate New Business forecasting on quarterly basis factoring leads, opportunities and known wins for the quarter. - Mentor and develop sales team to build strong sales abilities within the region. This will include working with the Regional Managers to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in sales, insurance and product development. - Aon National Sales Blueprint executed within the region as a living breathing concept for how we win new business. This includes execution of strategy for all new business opportunities. - Support SEA in the identification and nurturing of partnerships locally including networking opportunities, thought leadership and regular contact. - Engage with Regional Managers, Client Managers, Sales Managers and equivalent resources in Specialities, Broking and other solution lines to ensure appropriate buy-in, collaboration and alignment with sales strategy in the High Service Client space. - Lead Regional Sales meetings to review results, pipeline and opportunities. Ensure the meetings provide clear outputs and key sales staff are in attendance and be a key driver in engagement of the team.
