You will operate all machinery and equipment on board, perform routine maintenance, vessel husbandry and participate in all drills. Safety and compliance with all relevant legislation, policy and procedures will be your priority in this role. Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role you’ll have: The highest levels of personal integrity and behaviour Master Marine Engine Driver Grade III near coastal Proven experience in maritime service organisations as a Master / Engineer on vessels of a similar size Current First Aid Certificate Current drivers’ licence Knowledge of Navy operating practices - ideal Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of Defence Security Clearance – Baseline Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to show initiative and work effectively under pressure. The following you either hold or be able to obtain: Statement of Attainment – Safe Cargo Operations on Oil and Chemical Tankers Tanker Familiarisation Statement of Attainment – Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting High Risk licences Dogging, Crane, working within a confined space Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) where required by the business.
