Our client is a national leader in the logistics and freight forwarding industry and due to continued growth and success they are looking for an experienced and vibrant customer service consultant to join their team . In your new role you will be the first point of contact for their customers. You will be responsible for coordinating pick-up and delivery of high priority freight throughout Australia. Majority AIR and Road. You will be required to work a rotating roster across a 7-day week. This roster runs over a 8 week rotation working your hours will span across day, afternoons and nights. The below is MON to SUN Week 1 Mon & Tues 1400-2330 , Weds - Fri DAY OFF Sat & Sun 0600-1336 Week 2 Mon - Fri 1330-2106 , Sat & Sun DAY OFF Week 3 Mon - Weds DAY OFF, Thurs & Fri 1400-2330 , Sat & Sun 1330-2106 Week 4 Mon - Weds DAY OFF Thurs - Sun 1500-0030 Week 5 Mon & Tues DAY OFF, Weds & Thurs 1524-2300 Thurs & Fri 1900-0236 , Sat & Sun DAY OFF Week 6 Mon - Weds 900-0236, Thurs & Fri 2300-0636 , Sat & Sun DAY OFF Week 7 Mon & Tues 1524-2300 , Weds - Fri DAY OFF, Sat & Sun 0600-1530 Onsite parking is available, and you will be rewarded with a generous hourly rate. This role will have potential to transition from Temp to Perm within 12 months. Key duties and responsibilities will involve: Booking, allocating, monitoring and coordinating drivers Inbound and outbound calls Monitoring and resolving overdue lodgements, despatch/ deliveries Providing customers with and ETA on their deliveries Receiving notifications from drivers and updating relevant systems General administrative, data entry and customer service tasks as required. To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and attributes. Previous experience in similar role. Experience working on a rotational roster would be highly regarded. Excellent telephone manner with strong verbal communication skills Sound problem solving skills. Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work in a fast paced environment A genuine passion for service excellence Flexible to work both onsite and from home after training period.
