AHS and FMS Product Designer Join a high-performing product and design team working on next-generation Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) and Fleet Management Solutions. You'll play a key role in designing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences for users working with mobile fleet equipment and control room systems. As a UX/UI Designer, you'll partner with product managers, engineers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to design tools that are not only functional but easy to trust in complex, safety-critical environments. What you'll be responsible for Your designs will support AHS operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams, helping them interact with autonomous and semi-autonomous fleet systems. You'll lead and contribute to user journey mapping, wireframes, UI mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that improve usability and reduce complexity. You'll apply User Experience Design (UED) and Product Design principles to create solutions tailored to both field users and control centre staff. You'll maintain and contribute to design systems and component libraries, ensuring consistency across autonomous haulage and fleet management systems and supporting products. You'll collaborate with developers and contribute to front-end design alignment in Storybook. You'll work comfortably with CSS/HTML and, ideally, some React. What you'll bring to the role Your experience designing UX/UI for autonomous fleet systems, mobile equipment applications, or heavy vehicle software in mining, manufacturing, or logistics gives you a strong foundation for this role. Your background in User Experience Design (UED) and Product Design reflects your human-centred mindset and ability to create intuitive, purpose-built interfaces. Your confidence in running workshops, gathering requirements, and facilitating feedback loops helps teams align quickly and effectively. Your familiarity with design systems, scalable UI patterns, and designing for high-context environments ensures your work is both consistent and adaptable. Your strong communication skills allow you to represent user needs clearly, even in technically complex product conversations. Your hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, and user interviews ensures your design decisions are grounded in evidence and real-world feedback.
