Description As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as on field trips and other school-related activities. Your main tasks will include: Operating the school bus in compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the bus Assisting students with disabilities or special needs during transportation Maintaining accurate records of bus mileage, fuel consumption, and student ridership Communicating effectively with school staff, parents, and students regarding bus schedules and any changes or delays Upholding a positive and professional attitude while interacting with students, parents, and colleagues Adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by the Northern Australian Conference The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, a Driver Authority including a medical check for a paid bus run, excellent communication skills, patience when working with children, and a strong commitment to safety. Previous experience as a bus driver in an educational or community setting is preferred.
