What the day will look like The Pursuit Team (Bid Management) is part of Aon’s Growth Strategies team and performs a key role in new and retention opportunities. The team is made up of highly skilled, motivated and knowledgeable colleagues who use their knowledge of Aon, our clients and industries to propose a compelling value proposition. Based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, the Australia team is part of the wider Asia Pacific team and works closely with the wider global Pursuit community. The Opportunity We are looking for a Bid Graphic Designer to join our team and play a critical role in crafting visually engaging, high-impact proposals that help Aon win & retain business. The Role As a Bid Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our bid managers and creative designers to create compelling visual designs for proposals, presentations and business development collaterals. You will ensure our submissions are professional, persuasive and aligned with our brand identity. Key Responsibilities: - Ability to take a design brief from concept to completion - Design visually engaging and brand-aligned bid proposals, RFP responses, presentations and sales collaterals. - Develop infographics, charts and visual storying design elements to enhance complex information. - Build and refine documents in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. - Collaborate with Bid Managers and our in-house Creative Designer to conceptualise layouts and improve readability, - Maintain design library across all bid materials to ensure they adhere to currency of information. - Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Production of final art (print & digital) - Be an advocate for design best practices - Facilitate feedback with a positive attitude from different teams while ensuring relevant feedback is captured, properly validated, and implemented. Skills and Experience that will Lead to Success - Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally in a bid, proposal or corporate environment. - Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office suite of products. - A keen eye for detail, layout and typography. - Ability to translate complex information into clear, visually engaging content. - Experience in insurance, financial services or professional services (desirable). - Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in graphic design and finished artwork. - Tertiary, TAFE or other qualifications in Graphic Design. - A can-do attitude. No creative task is too small or too big for you to get in there and execute on it. - A curious mind for what’s next.
