What You’ll Be Doing This is a diverse role where you will be an office all-rounder, supporting the Office Manager, being 2IC when she is absent. Handling Medicare enquiries and processing, ensuring accurate patient billing. Assisting with daily banking tasks and contributing to accounts administration. Supporting the initial stages of workers' compensation claims. Utilising accounting software (experience desirable) and other office systems. Assisting with patient admissions (public and private hospitals) and related administrative tasks (training provided). Providing crucial assistance to the management team with various administrative duties. Managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth running of the office. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a fast-paced reception, or healthcare administration role. A mature, reliable, honest, friendly, and passionate attitude with a strong work ethic. Dedication to providing high-quality patient care. Confident and professional phone manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with medical or accounting software (MYOB) is an advantage. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities are essential, with the capacity to work efficiently in a busy environment . Experience with basic financial administration tasks is desirable. Knowledge of Medicare procedures and/or workers' compensation processes would be beneficial.
