Based at our Melbourne, Burwood Campus hybrid work arrangements Full-time and fixed term (until the end of Oct 2025) HEW 6 $92,573 - $99,972 17% Superannuation About the role: The Senior Officer, School Administration provides a high level of administrative advice and services to a range of school stakeholders to enable the delivery of school outcomes with the required resources. Support school functions through a range of processing and administrative tasks in line with university procedures as well as ensuring efficient and effective administration. Oversee the recruitment processes in the school, working closely with the School Manager and relevant central Divisions. Manage the Academic workload allocation system in collaboration with key academic staff and the Planning and Analysis team in Faculty Services. Work closely with the Associate Head of School (Teaching and Learning) on changes and updates to curriculum. As a Senior Officer, School Administration, you will: Work with team members to facilitate growth and development by giving balanced, constructive feedback. Seek feedback from stakeholders regarding their satisfaction and perspective, respond to feedback with openness and transparency and seek to identify ways to better service the customer Provide ethical advice to stakeholders on school administration and practice that address underlying matters, promoting value-adding insights and recommendations Identify areas for improvement and take the lead in implementing enhancements across academic workload allocation, recruitment management, internal funds oversight, and administrative support processes. Consult a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure efficient administrative support within the school. To be successful, you’ll have: A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures. Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone and written issue.
