Description Casual Kindergarten Teacher Reference number: 10612 Closing date: 11pm 11 May 2025 Seeking casual kindergarten teachers to work flexibly in Council managed Childcare and Kindergarten services Choose your availability and work across our services providing service leadership and delivering high quality education and care to our youngest community members Various shift possibilities in services across our municipality Salary commencement based on teaching experience in line with Council enterprise agreement, plus 25% casual loading and 11.5% superannuation As a casual kindergarten teacher, you will: Ability to plan and implement quality, engaging play-based programs for our youngest community members Design programs and spaces that foster children’s growth, creativity and development Ensure the center meets all legal, regulatory, and safety standards, including adherence to child safe standards Guide the team of early childhood professionals and provide leadership and mentoring Work flexibly and be responsive to our kindergarten and childcare administration teams Be committed to professional development and eagerness to learn and grow as a teacher at our services About you: Hold an ACECQA approved bachelor’s degree in early childhood teaching or equivalent qualification Hold current VIT registration Hold a current first aid and CPR training certificate Up to date child protection certificate Great communication skills and a passion for early childhood education Willingness to travel to services across the Moonee Valley municipality Responsiveness to short notice shift requests Council benefits: Dedicated team of early years administrators to assist in shift confirmation and support Highly experienced team of early years professionals Career development opportunities and mentoring Active social club and opportunities for learning and development How to Apply Click ‘Apply Now’ and submit your application.
