As the Administration and Logistics Officer , you will play a critical role in helping WTAC achieve its mission and uphold its values. Your role will involve a blend of administrative responsibilities and logistical coordination, all carried out with a high degree of professionalism and cultural sensitivity. You will be responsible for providing broad administrative support - including duties of the PBC Contact Person - as well as coordinating travel, events, meetings, and equipment logistics. This role will also require liaison with WTAC Directors, Members, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless support for corporate and field operations. This position requires a high level of discretion, flexibility, and attention to detail, with a strong focus on maintaining effective communication and efficient systems that enable WTAC to thrive. Key Responsibilities 1. Provide Administrative Support, Including Duties of the PBC Contact Person: Manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and records. Deliver quality customer service and perform reception duties. Maintain filing systems, diaries, meeting arrangements, and recordkeeping. Support WTAC committees and meeting coordination. Update ORIC records and membership registers. Act as the official PBC Contact Person, ensuring communications are relayed to Directors within required timeframes. 2. Provide Organisational Support in Logistics Coordination: Coordinate travel, venue bookings, equipment, and vehicle hire for meetings and events. Liaise with stakeholders regarding travel and logistical arrangements. Maintain shared calendars and ensure the return and maintenance of equipment and checklists. Selection Criteria The successful candidate will demonstrate: Proven experience in providing high-level administrative support to senior management, with discretion and confidentiality. Capacity to coordinate complex logistics, especially for remote area meetings. Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills. Excellent recordkeeping, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with Aboriginal People and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams. A collaborative, team-oriented attitude. Understanding of the cultural, social, economic, and political issues affecting Aboriginal communities.
