A bit about the role The role involves working collaboratively with another Early Childhood Teacher and a team of experienced educators, to develop and implement an engaging program that fosters young children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will guide children's curiosity and foundational skills, helping them build confidence and a love for learning during their most formative years. In this role you will: Supervise Educators: Oversee the work of Early Years Educators. Supervise Children: Ensure the safety of every child by supervising their activities at all times Build relationships: Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with children, families and other team members Create Routines: Set up effective daily routines and systems Develop Curriculum: Plan, carry out, and assess the children's learning activities Work Together: Collaborate with leaders, coworkers, families, children, and the community Adhere to the requirements of the National Quality Standards and framework, Regulations and EYLF Program Implementation: Assist in the implementation of high-quality children’s programs that respond to individual strengths and interests of children, families, and staff. Your Skills and Experience As a passionate, caring and nurturing individual, you will have a strong passion for Early Childhood education along with the following. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor of Early Childhood (0-8) Clearances: VIT Registration First Aid Certification: Level 2 First Aid, including Asthma & Anaphylaxis management and CPR Curriculum Knowledge: Solid understanding of the expectations of the Victorian and National Curriculum Frameworks, National Quality Standards and the current Regulations.
