As the Clinical Midwife Educator, you will be supporting the ongoing education and professional development of midwifery staff providing clinical teaching, mentorship and support to both new and experienced Midwives in a variety of care settings. Job details Salary of up to $119,330.64 per hour plus penalties and 11.5% superannuation Permanent full or part time option available Monday to Fridays only! No weekend work $1000 starting bonus! Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on teaching, simulation sessions, and in-service education to midwifery staff and students to ensure safe, evidence-based practice Mentor and support midwives at all levels, from students to experienced staff Develop and Maintain Educational Resources aligned with current best practice and policy Promote Quality and Safe Patient Care Demonstrates agility and work as a change agent The Hospital You will be working for a hospital based in one of the most rapidly developing areas in Melbourne who provides a wide range of healthcare services from acute medical and surgical care, emergency services, maternity and neonatal care as well as mental health services and specialist outpatient clinics. To be eligible you must: Current Nursing/Midwifery registration with AHPRA - must be dual registered Extensive Clinical Midwifery experience working across antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and neonatal care. Experience in Clinical Teaching and Mentoring with proven ability to support, teach and assess midwifery students, graduates and junior staff in clinical settings.
