RM Group is seeking a Superintendent to oversee multiple live construction projects, related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of civil construction practices, and familiarity with the unique challenges of water infrastructure projects. The salary for this position is $150k-$180k company car, depending on experience. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on water and wastewater treatment plant projects, including earthworks, concrete structures, piping, and utility installation. Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, quality control, and environmental regulations. Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution. Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks to enforce safety and promote a high-quality standard. Manage and mentor field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and morale. Monitor project costs and resource allocation, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and value engineering. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements. Liaise with clients, consultants, and inspectors to facilitate smooth project progress and issue resolution. Required Skills & Experience: Experience in civil construction, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities. Safety supervisors certificate (advantageous) Leading and managing complex, multi-phase construction projects. Strong knowledge of concrete structures, formwork, rebar, excavation, dewatering, and underground utilities. Solid understanding of safety management systems (HSE regulations). Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings and project specifications. Competent in using construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Relevant trade qualification or civil engineering background preferred.
