Warehouse Operator (Part-Time Contract) — Nudgee, Brisbane

About the opportunity: Christie Digital is looking for a Contract (3-months extendable) Part-Time Temporary Warehouse Operator to manage all aspects of warehouse operations and assist with general office maintenance. Responsibilities: Receiving and checking goods: Accurately receiving incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders, and reporting any discrepancies. Stock storage: Properly storing goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage methods to optimize space and prevent damage. Order picking and packing: Picking items from stock according to customer orders, accurately packing and labeling packages for shipment. Inventory management: Conducting stock checks and identifying potential stock discrepancies. Dispatching orders: Preparing goods for delivery, coordinating with transport providers, and ensuring timely dispatch of orders. Forklift operation: Operating forklift equipment to move pallets and heavy goods within the warehouse, adhering to safety guidelines. Warehouse maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including proper labeling and signage. Compliance with regulations: Adhering to all relevant safety regulations, including workplace health and safety procedures, and proper handling of hazardous materials. Ordering of office supplies: Maintain levels of coffee/printer paper/tissue and any other requirements to ensure the office is fully functional. General office maintenance: Facilitate the repair of any faults or breakages and ensure the general maintenance of the office is kept in order. Other ad-hoc office admin duties as required. The experience and skills we value: Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in warehouse function is preferred. Physical Strength: Able to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day. Communication Skills: Work well with others and communicate clearly (verbal and written). Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications and photocopier functions. Demonstrated adherence to all work rules and regulations. Hours: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (4 Hours), 4/5 days work-week negotiable, Monday to Friday. Full working rights in Australia.
