Customer Service Assistant - Galleries — Townsville, Townsville Region

TP Human Capital is recruiting two Customer Service Assistants to support a regional gallery during the Wedgwood Exhibition. These roles are based across two locations – Perc Tucker Regional Gallery and Pinnacles Gallery – and focus on front-of-house duties and visitor support. Position 1 Wed-Fri - 9:45 - 5pm, Sat - Sun - 9:45am - 1pm. (28.25hr/week) Position 2 - Tues-Fri -10am -3pm. (20hr/week) Casual position with an ASAP start for the remainder on the exhibition period (end August) $35.99 per hour penalties. Key Duties: Greet and assist gallery visitors Handle reception, phone, email, ticketing, and gift shop sales Monitor gallery spaces to help protect artworks Talk to the public about current exhibitions Work as part of a team to deliver a great visitor experience What We’re Looking For: Customer service and retail experience Interest in visual arts Friendly, professional communication skills Able to work as part of a team and independently Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) Flexible availability, including weekends Requirements: QLD C Class Driver’s Licence & reliable personal transport Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Ability to complete a National Police Check Able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing) Willing to work at both gallery locations If you meet the above requirements, please apply with your up-to-date resume and cover letter.
