Introduction Who we are looking for We are looking for a people-focused professional to take on the role of Coordinator Land & Legal. This position plays an important role in managing our outsourced legal services, overseeing land related agreements and transactions, and supporting long term property planning in line with our operational goals. Reporting to the Branch Manager Corporate Services, the role is vital for maintaining strong governance systems, policies, and compliance frameworks to ensure we meet our legal and regulatory obligations. This is a full-time ongoing position based in Warrnambool office and comes with a generous salary of $99,465 to $110,954 p.a. plus superannuation. Description What you'll be doing On a day-to-day basis, you'll: Act as the primary liaison between external legal providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective legal advice that aligns with our goals and values. Coordinate our legislative compliance framework, ensuring risks associated with non-compliance are identified, monitored and managed effectively. Oversee the administration of our property portfolio, including freehold and leasehold properties. This will involve maintaining compliance with our legal and government requirements while optimising financial and operational outcomes. Support internal teams in the development, negotiation, and implementation of contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with our risk profile and procurement strategy. Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring You're an exceptional communicator with extensive experience advising employees at all levels. You prepare and present reports, briefs, and submissions, and you work with experts to ensure compliance. You enjoy collaborating with others across an organisation, sharing information and building positive relationships with colleagues and external networks. Tertiary qualifications in law, property, business or related field is preferred, with equivalent extensive experience considered. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly relating to compliance, contracts, or land-related matters. High level of analytical reasoning and the ability to operate independently resolving complex issues.
