GMHBA offers a flexible workplace, a community-focused culture, and a great regional lifestyle Description About the opportunity We have an opening for a Receptionist to join our GMHBA Hub Belmont team to support the delivery of our dental, medical, nursing, podiatry and physiotherapy services on full time ongoing basis. The role of a Receptionist involves being the first contact for patients and other visitors to the practice, ensuring consistently friendly, competent service. The Receptionist ensures appointments are scheduled, accounts and patient medical records are created and maintained, while effectively communicating with Clinicians and other practice staff. Skills And Experiences About you As the ideal candidate, you’ll need to demonstrate the following skills and experience. Mandatory • The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment • Ability to communication with a diverse range of people • A high level of accountability with a can-do attitude Highly desirable • A high level of accountability with a can-do attitude • Previous experience in a dental or medical reception or similar administrative position • Previous experience in the use of EXACT or Best Practice Software • Working knowledge of Windows based software systems (e.g., Word, Excel) • An understanding of dental or nursing procedures If you believe you would be a great fit but don’t quite tick all of the boxes, we encourage you to apply.
