Lead by example and set a positive tone. Assist with menu preparation. Ensure adequate supplies for service. Communicate menu changes to restaurant team. Maintain presentation and cost control standards. Implement and maintain stock control procedures. Supervise apprentices in food prep. Ensure mise en place is prepared as required. Keep work areas clean and tidy. Ensure equipment is maintained and cleaned. Assist with roster preparation and cost-effective staffing. Report any issues to the Executive Chef.
