We're on the hunt for a skilled Finance Manager to our client in the funds management/investments space. This role will see you overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring all financial decisions are strategic, profitable, and in line with the company's objectives. Client Details Our client is a growing funds management and investment business based in South Yarra. Description The role will involve but not be limited to: Oversee and manage the financial operations of the business. Ensure financial decisions are strategic and profitable. Accounts receivable, payables and payroll duties Tax obligations alongside external accounting firm Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the company's objectives. Maintain and develop financial systems and processes. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals. Identify opportunities for financial improvement and implement necessary changes. Ensure compliance with financial legislation and regulations. Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: Qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA/CPA Qualification Background in private clients/business services is ideal Experience in a similar role within funds management/property/investments/private family office ideal A sound understanding of financial legislation and regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
