The Role: Our Gatton transport depot is looking for A MC Linehaul Driver to join our team. Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods from one location to another. This role demands a high level of skill, expertise and experience in operating a commercial heavy vehicle with a gross vehicle mass of over 4.5 tonne. We have a casual position available for a Gatton – Sydney – Gatton run, work will be across 7 days. Duties you can expect with this role include: Working with temperature sensitive freight Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight. Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Have a current & valid MC licence as a minimum Experience driving B-doubles Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential) Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.
