Permanent / Contract Available Large Government Environment NV1 clearance is required We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware across multiple datacenters. You will also contribute to the creation of detailed technical documentation and drive system improvements. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain hardware across multiple datacenters. Develop comprehensive design and operational documentation to support system delivery and sustainment. Manage and optimise datacenter infrastructure through continuous improvement initiatives, such as capacity planning. Enhance environmental management capabilities, including firmware updates and system monitoring tools. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure robust and secure system operations. Ensure the infrastructure aligns with security frameworks and regulatory requirements, such as ISM compliance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and developers, to support integrated system operations and project goals. Key Requirements: Strong experience with enterprise switching and routing, including configuration and troubleshooting. Proven expertise in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), such as VMware NSX and Cisco ACI. Hands-on experience deploying and managing hardware in datacenter environments. Proficiency with HPE Compute and Storage configuration and management. Proficiency with Network storage technologies (iSCSI/Fibre Channel). Proficiency with Network security solutions (e.g., Palo Alto NGFW). Networking fundamentals, including Cisco IOS-XE and NXOS. VMware Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Strong organisational skills to meet project schedules and deliver successful client outcomes.
