ConsultANZ is looking for a Senior Project Engineer with expertise in pavements and roads to join a leading national main contractor based in Sydney. Key Responsibilities Oversee pavement and surfacing works across Sydney. Provide leadership and guidance to a large, skilled team. Manage multiple large and small-scale projects simultaneously. Plan, schedule, and allocate labour and plant resources efficiently. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality project delivery. Maintain strict health and safety compliance on-site. Track, control, and report on project costs and budgets. Requirements 6–8 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field. A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. Proven ability to manage technically complex pavement projects, including on-site supervision. Experience working with a reputable construction, surfacing, or asphalting company. Strong knowledge of pavement types, asphalting, and surfacing techniques, including material estimation, quality control, and testing. Hands-on, practical problem-solving approach with excellent communication skills. Benefits Competitive salary package $120k – $140k super allowances (negotiable based on experience).
