About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the ABC’s PABX voice network and related services; and providing clients with second level voice network support to meet organisational service levels. You will also: Under the direction of the Senior Voice Analyst and Manager Network Platforms, provide PABX-based telephony services. This includes: Fault resolution. Request fulfillment. System programming related to network changes. Installation/configuration of voice equipment, including handsets. Collaborating with external vendors for fault escalation and remediation. Maintain professional voice network documentation, including but not limited to schematics and databases. Manage telephony assets, including creating new assets and decommissioning. Assist as directed with the transition of the ABC voice communication systems from legacy PABX to modern unified communications. Actively promote the ABC values and apply all relevant workplace policies and guidelines. About you Demonstrated skills and experience in telecommunications and voice communications, MDF jumpering (Krone and Seimon), and phone handset configuration. Demonstrated understanding of NEC PABX systems and configuration and troubleshooting to test and repair in-house telecommunications circuits and equipment. Demonstrated understanding of Telstra and Telco Voice services, including SIP, Microsoft Teams as a Telephony platform, and Knowledge of IP is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others and build rapport with a variety of customers, including managing their expectations. Organisational skills with the ability prioritise work and manage multiple and competing demands. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical problems.
