Job Description Release Train Engineer – Urgent Req. 6 months contract with potential for further extensions Location – Canberra Australian Citizens with current NV1 Clearance Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer for our esteemed Large Federal Government Client. This is an ASAP start for an initial 6 months contract, with potential for further extensions About the Role: As the Release Train Engineer (RTE) you will be responsible for and will drive the quarterly Planning Increment planning events. You will also be responsible for identifying and relaying resource (financial and workforce) needs for the Product Management Teams. Main responsibilities include: Facilitate PI Planning, Demo’s and Problem Solving workshops. Create feature/epic descriptions from PI Planning to provide guidance to assigned Product Managers, contribute, and review any product-related documents. Manage and improve the Agile Release Train's (ART) workflow, ensuring work flows toward delivery. Ensure accurate and timely completion of project reporting across product lines, phases and tranches ensuring accountability, traceability and compliance. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and provide business continuity support. Ensure consistent communication and flow of information across channels. Essential criteria: Experience in Australian Federal Government program and project management (Agile methodology). Experience in requirements elicitation across stakeholder communities. The ability to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels. Demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables within challenging and tight timeframes. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Product Management / Senior Scrum Master role. At least 5 years of experience and hands-on expertise in information technology project team management. Tertiary qualifications in Systems Engineering, ICT or a related discipline. SAFe Agilist Certification. Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
