Gladstone Region Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Service Limited (“GRAICCHS”) trading as Nhulundu Health Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service operating in Gladstone and the greater Central Queensland Region delivering a comprehensive range of primary health care, aged care and community support service functions. Job Description The Business Administration Officer is responsible for providing support to the GRAICCHS’ Aged Care Unit. As an administration officer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing administrative support to management, employees, and in some cases, clients, and visitors; Handling ad-hoc duties such as answering phones, organising files, drafting letters and scheduling meeting; Maintaining databases and tracking important deadlines; Providing support and excellent customer service to all clients in person and/or over the phone; Purchase orders – raise purchase orders for continence aids, equipment, PPE for Aged Care Clients; Taxi vouchers – allocating to clients and managing spreadsheet; Maintaining strong relationships with both your colleagues as well as clients. This position will be a Full-Time Maximum-Term Contract (1year) based in the Gladstone Region. Desired Skills and Experience A passion and commitment to make a difference in people's lives; Previous administration experience is required; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and Outlook); Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent phone manner; Outstanding organisational and time management skills; QLD Drivers Licence; Accuracy and attention to detail.
