The Opportunity As one of the country's leading and preferred Defence partners, Boeing Defence Australia, develops and sustains leading edge technologies for some of Australia's largest and most complex Defence projects. We are seeking an energetic and talented ICT Systems Administrator to work at our Geraldton site. As part of a high performing team, this opportunity ensures you will be using your IT skills to make a meaningful contribution supporting the capabilities of our National Intelligence Community customer, the Australian Signals Directorate - ASD. Responsibilities This position provides information and communication technology (ICT) system administrative support for local and remote systems, Mainly Linux with some Windows OS and bespoke applications support. Juniper/CISCO network support. You will be responsible for incident/fault resolution management to meet customer's operational requirements. Meet the daily mission critical priorities for problem/incident rectification. You will be required to participate in an on-call roster. Experience/Qualifications To be successful you will be suitably experienced in Information Communications Technology with solid skills in Linux Administration. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, RKE highly desirable. Tertiary or technical qualifications in Communications Engineering and/or ICT highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Successful applicants will also need to demonstrate they can use initiative, prioritise and work in a fast paced environment within tight timeframes.
