Join Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) as our Travel and Accommodation Program Administrator and play a vital role in supporting Australians affected by rare and less common cancers. This is a permanent, part-time role with flexibility in hours and location, including the option to work up to 1–2 days remotely each week. Initially, we're seeking someone for 3 days per week , including a partial or full day on Fridays , with the flexibility to increase to 4 days over time. Days and hours are negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible, hybrid work arrangements (Bowral-based with hybrid work from home arrangements) Supportive, inclusive, and friendly team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and career development About the Role The Travel and Accommodation Program Administrator plays an integral part in RCA’s CAR-T Travel and Accommodation Assistance Program , supporting patients through the logistics of treatment travel. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating patient registration Liaising with referring and treating hospitals Working closely with the Patient Care Team Organising travel and accommodation bookings Managing claims through state travel subsidy schemes Tracking costs, reporting, invoicing, and payment records About You You're a proactive and detail-oriented administrator who thrives in a caring, purpose-driven environment. You bring both compassion and efficiency to your work and are motivated by helping people during challenging times. Key skills and experience: Relevant qualifications in business administration or equivalent experience Administrative experience in healthcare, patient services, or travel coordination Knowledge of travel subsidy schemes (desirable) Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team How to Apply To apply, please submit a combined resume and short cover letter through the application process.
