About the Opportunity With the commencement of our Gossan Valley Expansion project, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Project Manager (Gossan Valley) and work on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on managing site electrical projects, ensuring safe, efficient, on-time, and on-budget delivery. This is an 18-month contract with the potential to extend to 24 months. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing technical expertise and leadership in project initiation, cost estimation, budget submissions, and project delivery. Delivering electrical power and system engineering solutions, including HV and LV distribution, as well as project scoping, design, and commissioning. Managing contractors and ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with standards. Performing risk assessments, JSEAs, and safety investigations to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Reviewing and developing equipment strategies to align with statutory, Australian, and site standards. About You Our ideal candidate will have a background in similar electrical engineering roles, including some exposure to design work. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering. Experience with processing / non-processing infrastructure and power distribution equipment. A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
