Lead SOE Engineer Initial 12-months contract Seeking experience mentoring SOE & Desktop Engineers Strong experience with Windows, Linux, MacOs, Jamf etc About the role: In this leadership role, you will manage and mentor a team of SOE Engineers and Desktop Support Analysts, ensuring best-in-class support, incident resolution, and ongoing maintenance of the University's Windows and MacOS fleets using tools like Intune, SCCM, JAMF, and Group Policy. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate SOE engineering activities and workloads. Maintain and support the University’s EUCD fleet and associated tools. Oversee and participate in incident and problem management, root cause analysis, and change implementation. Develop technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and SOPs. Champion user experience while driving innovation and compliance. Key experience: Strong background in SOE packaging, deployment, and support for Windows 10, MacOS, and Office 365. Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, JAMF, and enterprise endpoint management tools. Experience in application packaging (AppV, MSI) and scripting with PowerShell/VBScript. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and customer service skills. Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Desirable: ITIL Foundation Certificate. 7 years of experience in a similar technical leadership role.
