Olive Harvest Machine Operator / Truck Driver (hc Or Hr Licence) - Casual (full Time) - must have Heavy Rigid Licence Seasonal full time hours Precision Olive Harvesting has been established for 18 years and has a reputation as the "go to" Olive Harvest contractor within the industry for the job to be done professionally and efficiently. Most of our clients have been with us for the duration of this time. 2025 is set to be a bumper season and as such we need an extra team member to support the harvest season April 2025 - July 2025. Your primary role will be to operate the Olive Harvesting Machine (Sicma F3), and undertake routine maintenance during your shift. It is essential that you have a HC or HR licence so that your able to effectively and efficient transport the machine and accommodation to each of our clients sites within NSW /ACT. Truck is a Freight-liner with road ranger gear box - you will be required to demonstrate that you are a proficient truck driver (road ranger gear box) and preferably you have experience loading/ unloading plant/ equipment. Driving experience in Australia would be highly regarded. The Olive Harvester is a Sicma F3 - experience on this machine would be advantageous however operation can be taught if you have other experience with machine operation. You will be required to learn procedures and competencies to ensure you are able to operate, service and maintain the Sigma F3. The team will operate on a roster basis typically this can look like 10 on/ 4 off however we require flexibility as we also operate a family farm and will also be completing the sowing season. We are open to negotiating other options for the set up of the roster. We will supply accommodation and meals. As our clients are primary producers and operate out of town limits we supply a self equipped caravan. Duties: Olive Harvesting - rate $50 per billable hour • Operation of Sicma F3 (Olive shaker) Olive Harvesting machine maintenance - rate $30 per non billable hour • Maintenance/ Servicing as per guides and procedures • Machine breakdown fault finding, diagnosis and repair • Stock take of spares parts • Customer service • Record keeping • Cleaning of machine Truck Driving - rate $30 per hour • Loading/ unloading harvest equipment safely and efficiently • Securing loads as per safety requirements • Transporting harvest equipment and caravan • Minor service and maintenance • Ensuring accurate record keeping (e.g. Log Books, service history) • Transport of oil (only as required) • Cleaning of equipment and caravan General Operations • Reporting of breakages and issues • Following WHS guidelines and processes • General plant and equipment operations (loader, tractor, forklift if licenced/ trained) • Assist with the review and documentation of policy or procedures • Participate in planning sessions, team meetings or hand over processes • Work in a small team • Other duties under the direction of supervisor/owner. Please understand that the rural environment at this time of year is dusty and hay fever conditions are high.
