Learning and Development Specialist (Part time 6 month contract) | North Ryde — North Ryde, Ryde Area

Job Description: Please note this position is currently 2 days per week (Part time) We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist with expertise in Absorb Learning Management System (LMS) to join our team on a part-time contract basis for 6 months. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our training programs and ensuring compliance across various therapeutic areas (TAs). Key Responsibilities: Review and Update iLearn Content: Conduct a comprehensive content audit of onboarding Therapy Area and Product materials to ensure all training resources are current, across our portfolio of Therapy Areas. Identify and address content gaps and consider consolidating completion records across all TAs to ensure consistency. Collaborate with product managers to coordinate face-to-face training sessions on new indications and product updates. Develop an iLearn course that includes agendas and presentation materials, enrol attendees, and track completion effectively. New Hire Process for Training Enrolment: Utilize Absorb LMS system to streamline and manage new hire training processes. Assign relevant TA-specific courses, monitor completion rates, and generate training completion reports for newly hired employees. Standardize the Customer Readiness Certification process across all TAs to ensure compliance with knowledge requirements. Define and document the medical team’s process for Customer Readiness, particularly concerning probation compliance. User Management and Cost Control in iLearn: Sign up employees and allocate training within the iLearn system. Review and clean up the user list regularly to maintain a cap of 250 active users, thereby mitigating additional costs. Ensure all completed training records are downloaded and archived before deleting users to comply with organizational record-keeping protocols. Training Records Management: Establish a process for uploading training content (including decks, agendas, and attendee lists) to iLearn for compliance documentation. Engage regularly with the records manager and familiarize yourself with the new global Regulatory Information Management (RIM) system. Qualifications: Proven experience with Absorb LMS is required. Experience using Qualtrics is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, or a related field. Strong background in Learning & Development, with experience in content management and learning management systems. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
