Graduate Systems Administrator — St Leonards, Willoughby Area

The Graduate Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. The Graduate Systems Administrator actively resolves problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide end-user support to staff in person, via phone and email for technical support enquiries Support & maintain virtual Environment Provide remote support and ability to remotely troubleshoot IT issues Administer the set-up of new employees, create and update access permissions and maintain user accounts across multiple systems. Managing the full range of technologies including, but not limited to: Windows, Domino, Office, Active Directory, Dynamics 365, Sophos Maintain the Helpdesk ticketing system Performing core admin functions to maintain system integrity Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, networks, application software and system management tools Security administration and patching of software and hardware. Firewall implementation and administration. WiFi administration and management Core systems and network support Desktop and workstation support Phone setup, maintenance and support Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or similar Demonstrates high learning agility with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, technologies, and processes in a dynamic environment Knowledge of Microsoft, Active Directory, Office 365, Networking, Firewalls, VPN Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and the ability to collaborate with others Excellent documentation and report writing skills Desirable experience or knowledge of: Previous Systems / Network / Infrastructure administration experience Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent Active Directory and Group Policy management Network Management experience (inc Sophos VPNs & Firewalls) Antivirus management Deploying and maintaining applications Network technologies (switching, routing, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN)
