The practice is comprised of a close-knit team currently made up of two senior professionals. The firm provides end-to-end accounting services and prides itself on maintaining long-term relationships with it's clients. The practice operates from a city office and offers on-site parking. About the opportunity This full-time, in-office position provides both front desk and administrative support to the firm’s Director. The successful candidate will manage a wide range of administrative and bookkeeping duties, including managing client communication, generating invoices, lodging tax documentation and processing payroll. In this role, you will: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders Organise and manage daily workflows and documentation efficiently Ensure proactive handling of tasks and reliability in day-to-day routines Accurately manage client files and agenda's Operate accounting software for bookkeeping, invoicing, and payroll About you We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in an accounting practice. You will be comfortable handling front desk responsibilities alongside traditional bookkeeping and admin tasks in a static and structured office setting. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Strong communication and organisational skills Prior experience in office administration or bookkeeping environments Initiative and ability to work without close supervision Accuracy in document handling and file management Working knowledge of either MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks (preferred) Familiarity of ATO and ASIC portals (preferred) What’s on offer This position provides the opportunity to work in a CBD location with onsite parking in a full-time, in-office role.
