Warranty Administrator — Victoria, Australia

Introduction We are seeking a highly organised and proficient Warranty Administrator to join our Warranty Team working for prominent, busy and established commercial construction company. The Company: Valeo Construction Group is a well-established and stable company with continued growth and project successes. We have an exciting opportunity to strengthen our team and bring on board an experienced Administrator. Reporting directly to the Warranty Manager, the key focus of this role is the coordination and management of a high quality and efficient warranty service. The Office: Brand new custom- and purpose-built headquarters in the heart of South Melbourne in 2024. Paid parking is close by and our new premises is steps away from South Melbourne Market, close to plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Description Your role and responsibilities will include: Warranty and defect administration, using Aroflo software; Consultation with Warranty Manager to ensure prioritization and resource management; Coordinate teams and warranty workers for despatch; Management of costs retrieval from supplier/subcontractors; Manage all customer escalations, take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution; Improve customer service quality by collaboratively evaluating & re-designing processes, establishing & communicating service metrics, monitoring & analysing results & implementing changes; Liaise with clients, suppliers & internal departments to ensure regular communication to all stakeholders involved; Identify areas of improvement & proactively solve problems Skills And Experiences To be successful in your new role you will require: Experience in a customer service role Property/maintenance experience preferred Knowledge of building processes is desirable Experience handling difficult & complex situation Excellent communication, problem solving & customer service skills Excellent written and verbal skills Attention to detail & ability to work under pressure with short deadlines Excellent organisational skills Thrives in a fast-paced office environment High attention to detail Intermediate skill in Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, particularly verbal, to deal with difficult callers Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict A broad understanding of customer issues Positive and proactive can do attitude Strong team player willing to support all team members The ideal applicant will possess demonstrated experience in a similar role.
