The Role Toll People are currently seeking casual MR Drivers for a busy client based in Mitchell ACT. Delivering for a leading Australian energy retailer you will be responsible for the safe delivery of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers across Canberra and the surrounding region. The short-term/seasonal assignment will start in April and finish in approximately September 2025. Candidates will be notified if this timeframe varies with as much notice as possible. There is an opportunity for 1 driver to work in an ongoing capacity, which may lead to a permanent role. Successful candidates will be required to work full time hours, Monday to Friday weekends as required. Shifts start between 5:30am-6am. Pay rate: $41.80 (shift penalties may apply) Key Responsibilities Deliveries of LPG cylinders Manually load and unload cylinders of gas (specialised trolleys are provided) Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Complete all relevant paperwork Weekend shifts as required Skills and Experience MR licence (minimum) Ability to keep up with the physical demands of the job Excellent communication skills LPG or other gas/liquid experience (preferred by not essential as training is provided) Commitment to work the duration of the seasonal assignment A pre-employment medical and police check are required as part of application process Benefits Above award rates Full training provided Uniform provided Opportunity for 1 driver to continue in an ongoing position which may lead to a permanent role If you feel that you meet the criteria listed above, please apply now.
