About the role Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role oversees the sales process for franchising opportunities across Craveable Brands family of Brands – Red Rooster, Oporto, Chicken Treat and Chargrill Charlie’s. The Franchise Sales Manager identifies and attracts potential franchisees, manages relationships, and ensures that franchise growth aligns with the company’s strategic goals and plays a critical role in expanding the franchise network. NB: This role will require some travel for franchise meetings, expos, and site visits. This role can be based in Brisbane for the right candidate. Key Activities Include: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential franchisees through various channels, including online research, networking, events, and partnerships. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective franchisees. Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to contract signing. Guide potential franchisees through the disclosure document (FDD), answering questions and ensuring all terms and conditions are clarified. Conduct discovery days, where potential franchisees meet the company’s team and learn more about the franchise system. Serve as the point of contact for all franchise sales inquiries, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Market Research, Strategy and Analytics: Conduct research to understand market trends, customer demographics, and competitors. Develop sales strategies that align with company objectives and target potential franchise markets. Track sales progress, report on KPIs, and adjust strategies as needed. Maintain a detailed database of prospects, sales activities, and conversions. Franchise Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with franchise marketing to create effective campaigns to attract new franchisees. Represent the company at franchise expos, conferences, and other networking events to promote the franchise opportunity. Compliance: Ensure all franchise sales activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure the company’s franchise system is compliant with applicable franchise laws and industry standards. About You Essential Demonstrated experience in franchise sales, business development, or a similar role. Experience with B2B sales or franchise development is often preferred. Sales-driven, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving franchise growth. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with potential franchisees. Analytical skills for market research and sales performance evaluation. Knowledge of franchise laws and regulations. Ability to manage multiple leads and complex sales processes. Desirable Tertiary education in business, Marketing, or a related field. Previous experience working in the Quick Service Restaurant industry highly desirable.
