Membership Coordinator- Casual — Caulfield South, Glen Eira Area

The Melbourne Racing Club is looking for casual Membership Coordinators to support our team during key periods across the 2025/26 racing season. We have opportunities available across three distinct timeframes: Membership renewal period (June & July). Caulfield Cup Carnival (October). Various mid-week and weekend race days throughout the 2025/26 racing season. Based at Caulfield Racecourse and reporting to the Membership Manager, this role plays a key part in our membership operations. Responsibilities include customer service, ticketing, and membership support, acting as the first point of contact for our members, building relationships, and assisting with operational and administrative tasks. This role is a great opportunity to be at the heart of the action, where you’ll also be involved in event and race day operations, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our valued members. Acting as the first point of contact for members, providing a high level of customer service and answering all enquiries in a friendly and accurate manner. Processing renewals and new membership applications via phone, mail, and in-person. Maintain accuracy and integrity of data entry into membership database Build strong and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring effective lines of communication are provided to all departments in strong support of membership experience and customer service. Provide support to members on race days at Caulfield as required Collaborate within the Membership team on ad- hoc administrative duties. Skills & Experience Previous experience in the delivery of quality customer service Demonstrable experience in customer service roles within the sports, events, or hospitality sectors (Desirable) Meet and manage strict guidelines and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well individually and as part of a team Outstanding attention to detail Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Motivated by delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment What’s in it for you?
