Accounts Officer We are offering an accounts officer role for an experienced AP/AR/Reconcile accounts professional with minimum 2-3 years solid experience. While we would appreciate you having industry knowledge Automotive, Vehicle Leasing, Sales and Resources & Construction, it’s not essential. Your willingness to grow, learn, being a team player, and your accounting experience are what counts the most. The Role – The Accounts officer will work with our small existing Accounts personnel and a highly experienced Finance Manager for all invoicing, reconciliation and daily accounting requirements. Liaising regularly with clients, and answering accounts queries both over the phone, email and in person as required. Working closely with the team, but the role also requires you to be able to take independent problem-solving initiative. Your skills – A thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices. You will bring strong computer skills within the Office suite of products such as Outlook, Word and Excel and Sage Evolution. We’re looking for a great attitude, strong work ethic, honest, reliable and punctual, team first approach. Ability to work to deadline and perform under pressure, including task prioritisation and ability to multitask. Your expertise – Exp with receivables (invoicing, statements, collections) Reconciliation GL: income, direct costs (cost of sales), fixed assets/depreciation Sales invoicing Payables responsibilities preparing batch payment batches, new supplier accounts, registering ppsr Desirable if you had knowledge of management accounting potentially as the role may evolve into more AR responsibilities.
