Permanent Opportunity Part Time at 0.6 EFT (45.6 hrs per f/n) HS2 Administration Officer Based at The Alfred Department Summary The Allied Health Administration Team supports the Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology and Orthotics Departments, and other Allied Health departments as required. These departments provide ongoing services to both inpatients and outpatients of the hospital including Cancer Services. Alfred Cancer provides cancer treatment and care for our local catchment, and to all Victorians through our state-wide melanoma, haematology and haemophilia services. Position Summary As a Cancer Allied Health Administration Officer you will be part of the Allied Health Administration Team. This role is the first point of contact for the public receiving Dietitian, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Lymphoedema, Psychology, Social Work and Spiritual Care services. You are responsible for facilitating access to these services. The position involves liaison with internal and external services and administrative support to the above clinicians The Administration Officer will provide support to the above Allied Health Departments as required. Key Capabilities Well-developed administration and IT skills. High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Well-developed organisation and time management skills. Customer-focused approach to service delivery and administrative management skills. Professional telephone manner. Ability to liaise effectively with hospital and departmental staff, patients and carers. Ability to interact with communication and physically impaired patients.
